Build the Future of Solar Energy

Join Gujarat's most respected solar EPC team. We're growing fast — and we need engineers, technicians, and project leaders who want to build something that matters.

High-Impact Work

Every project you deliver puts MW-scale clean energy onto Gujarat's grid. The impact is measurable — in tonnes of CO₂ avoided and lakh units generated.

🏗️

Field-First Culture

We trust our engineers on site. Junior engineers take charge of MW-scale sites early. Growth comes from doing, not waiting.

📈

Fast Career Growth

As we scale from 500 MW to 1,000 MW by 2030, leadership roles open up faster than at any legacy engineering firm.

Open Positions

Current Opportunities

All roles are based in Gujarat with a mix of office (Surat HQ) and field work across project sites.

Solar Project Engineer

EngineeringFull-time₹6–10 LPA
3–6 years

Surat, Gujarat (field travel required — Saurashtra and North Gujarat project sites)

The Solar Project Engineer is responsible for end-to-end execution of ground-mounted and rooftop solar EPC projects from civil mobilisation through to grid synchronisation and handover. You will coordinate directly with GETCO/PGVCL officials, equipment vendors, and civil contractors at active project sites across Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site execution of solar EPC projects from 500 kW to 10+ MW, managing civil, structural, electrical, and commissioning phases against approved project schedules
  • Coordinate 33 kV/11 kV grid interconnection processes with GETCO and PGVCL including application submission, inspection scheduling, and synchronisation approval
  • Supervise installation of module mounting structures, solar panels, string inverters/central inverters, transformers, and HT panels per approved electrical drawings
  • Conduct daily site safety audits and enforce compliance with CEA regulations, MNRE guidelines, and the company's internal EHS standards

Requirements

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognised Indian university
  • 3–6 years of direct site experience in solar EPC, with at least one ground-mounted project above 2 MW as site-in-charge or deputy site engineer
  • Working knowledge of CEA regulations (Installation of Meters, Safety, and Measures relating to Connection) and relevant IS standards for LV/MV electrical installations
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting single-line diagrams, electrical layout drawings, and module string wiring plans

Solar Design Engineer

EngineeringFull-time₹5–9 LPA
2–5 years

Surat, Gujarat (occasional site visits for design verification)

The Solar Design Engineer produces bankable technical designs for ground-mounted and rooftop solar systems from 100 kW to 15 MW, using PVsyst for energy yield modelling and AutoCAD for layout and electrical drawing packages. You will work closely with the business development team to produce pre-sales DPRs and with the project execution team to ensure design-to-field accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) including PVsyst simulation files, energy yield estimates (P50/P90), system performance ratio targets, and equipment selection rationale
  • Design single-line diagrams, module layout drawings, string configuration plans, and earthing/lightning protection schemes using AutoCAD or equivalent drafting tools
  • Select and specify solar modules, inverters (string and central), transformers, switchgear, and mounting structures based on site conditions, grid requirements, and project economics
  • Conduct shadow analysis, inter-row spacing optimisation, and module tilt angle studies to maximise annual energy yield for specific Gujarat site locations

Requirements

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with a strong academic record
  • 2–5 years of solar PV design experience, with proficiency in PVsyst (ability to independently set up and validate simulation files is mandatory)
  • AutoCAD proficiency at the level of producing complete electrical layout and schematic drawing packages
  • Understanding of Gujarat's solar irradiance characteristics, including GHI/DNI data sources (NREL, MNRE, Meteonorm) and their application to yield modelling

Operations & Maintenance Technician

OperationsFull-time₹3–5.5 LPA
1–4 years

Saurashtra / Gujarat field-based (home base: Amreli or Bhavnagar district)

The O&M Technician is the first line of technical response for Raycal Power's portfolio of ground-mounted solar plants across Amreli and Bhavnagar districts, collectively representing over 60 MW of commissioned capacity. You will carry out preventive maintenance schedules, perform fault diagnosis on string inverters and DC combiner boxes, and coordinate with grid operators for tripping events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules across assigned solar plants: module cleaning, thermographic inspection of strings and junction boxes, torque verification of module clamps and cable terminations
  • Diagnose and resolve AC/DC electrical faults — inverter alarms, string underperformance, earth fault events, and protection relay trips — using clamp meters, insulation resistance testers, and IV curve tracers
  • Monitor plant generation data through remote SCADA platforms; identify deviation from expected performance ratio benchmarks and initiate corrective actions within defined response SLAs
  • Coordinate with GETCO/PGVCL field staff for grid-related events including feeder tripping, voltage deviation, and reactive power compliance

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI (Electrician trade) with relevant field experience
  • 1–4 years of O&M experience on solar PV plants of 500 kW and above; comfort working with 33 kV switchgear under LOTO protocols is essential
  • Proficiency with standard electrical test equipment: multimeters, IR testers (Megger), earth resistance testers, and clamp-on power analysers
  • Basic understanding of SCADA plant monitoring platforms — ability to navigate dashboards, extract generation data, and log alarm events
